JIM BOWIE in "Nothing to Lose" (1958)

Is the World Premier of a Jim Bowie story? Maybe, and maybe not. I found it in issue #11 of the Charlton comic Texas Rangers in Action. Though obviously a Charlton Bowie tale, it had been converted to feature Texas Ranger "Jim Lowie." This sort of sacrilege should not stand, so I changed "Lowie" back to Bowie, removed the Ranger references, and replaced the page 1 logo. Hope Jim appreciates it. Had it appeared earlier in another Charlton comic as a Jim story? That's certainly possible, but I have so far failed to find it.
