Seems a nice adventure movie.
I don't think I've ever seen the movie version. It was made from two episodes of the Disney series - one about the river pirates and one about the keelboat race with Mike Fink. I have the episodes on one of the Disney Treasures DVD sets.
Seems I saw the whole thing once or twice. A fun movie.
I remember watching this as a kid back in the 1950's on TV. Davy Crockett was just about the biggest thing back then.
Quite possibly the greatest movie ever produced in America. "Girls run and hide,Brave men shiver,I'm Mike Fink...King of the River!!"
