True. This title lasted over a hundred issues, and went through several style changes. The cover artist on these seems to have started with #43.
The poor dame in the second being attacked by someone in a photograph, but no need to fear the Shadow is there.
Doc Savage is once again listed as one of the back-up strips, so these must be from the period after Doc's own comic ended.
Yeah, Doc's last issue was Oct '43. The first of this batch was Jan '45.
