Grabow as an extraordinary actress with an incomparable screen presence, but unfortunately very few people know her filmography in our days. Try and see both ehr talkies and silents: "Camille", 'Queen Christina", "Anna Karenina", "Ninotschka", "Mata Hari", "The painted veil", "Woman of Affairs", "Flesh and the Devil", "The mysterious Lady", "The kiss". No one can touch Garbo.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705940625481143611.post-62763257019928294122010-10-25T02:30:25.605-07:002010-10-25T02:30:25.605-07:00Lionel Barrymore is one of my favorites. I have seen Grand Hotel, though, and always thought it was the inspiration for Dinner at Eight. The large cast of stars, the multiple story lines, are features of both films.Cap'n Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11783977137812876489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705940625481143611.post-29236640633922333882010-10-24T02:08:36.004-07:002010-10-24T02:08:36.004-07:00I never seen it.
