I never missed a repeat on the Wonderful World of Disney, great stuff you just don't see made anymore.Drakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05976371904886616699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705940625481143611.post-34975941226584664762009-11-23T13:34:46.617-08:002009-11-23T13:34:46.617-08:00Thanks for looking, all.

One wearing a real coon on your head, and the other a Disney deluxe. I had a coon-skin cap, with tail, purchased at Disneyland (the original, one and only in my book) - we went there two or three times per summer the first five years or so it was open. I had the 45 record of the song. Both the record and the hat are long gone, but the memories linger.Richard Robinsonhttp://brokenbullhorn.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705940625481143611.post-48947637669811468582009-11-23T12:33:23.294-08:002009-11-23T12:33:23.294-08:00I loved those episodes and also the juvenile book ...I loved those episodes and also the juvenile book adaptations of them (early tie-ins!). I had not one but two, count 'em, two, coonskin caps. One of them was a merchandising item, bought in a store, but the other was the real thing, made by one of my uncles from a raccoon that he trapped. Now I feel sorry for the raccoon, but boy, I loved that cap then.James Reasonerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18049917964433932612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4705940625481143611.post-54037433991469920542009-11-23T11:12:06.827-08:002009-11-23T11:12:06.827-08:00Loved it. Being in a household with 4 girls meant that the Western and pioneer shows had to take a back seat to American Bandstand and the like.
