Don't remember a thing about Paul Antony's chapter. I remember thinking that Jacquelyn Friedman's essay seemed (to me) to over-intellectualize, and that she seemed to look for deeper socio-political meanings than were probably intended. Also, iirc, she repeatedly compared Bond to Napoleon Solo (and M to Mr. Waverly) unfavorably. She seemed to be much more of a "Man from U.N.C.L.E." fan than a Fleming/Bond fan.
