As a boy of nine or ten in 1953 this was one of my favorite non-comedy radio shows (we didn't get teevee until 1955). Another favorite was THE SIX-GUN starring James Stewart as Britt Ponset...I was very excited about his name. I still listen to both of them fairly often in the car.

ReplyDeleteBoth good 'uns, with superior scripting. I rate Richard Diamond up there with them, too.
ReplyDeleteNot a bad show. I had never heard of that one and thought i knew them all. Thank you for posting. And Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteGawk, I meant THE SIX SHOOTER starring James Stewart. I perhaps was thinking about a more juvenile radio western from '53 called DR. SIX-GUN.
ReplyDeleteToo fun! Thanks.
