Planet Comics ran for 73 issues between 1940 and 1954, and sported consistently amazing covers. ReplyDeleteComics and pulp magazines with covers showing bug-eyed monsters menacing scantily-dressed young women. In the WWII era, that was what a lot of people thought of if you mentioned the term, "science fiction."
