WILL EISNER Presents "The Black X" in ESPIONAGE (1938)


This early effort by the soon-to-be-great Will Eisner appeared in Feature Funnies #13, from Oct. 1938. It introduced the "Black X," who would hang around for a good number of issues. Stay tuned. He's likely to return. Thanks to movielover and comicbookplus.

    I need to reread it; the plot made absolutely no sense to me.

    They screwed up the last panel on page 3. That guy's coat should be blue.
