My understanding is that Wild Bill was a psychopath originally called "Duck Bill" because of a cleft lip. He fled home as a teen after murdering a man. Somehow, this part of his past seems to have been erased from history.

ReplyDeleteI couldn't figure that either, but according to dictonary.com, an "emigrant" is "someone who leaves a country or region. I guess that makes us both emigrants, but you way more than me.
