This Jim Bowie lookalike was the proud recipient of the Mystery Writers of America 2011 Robert L. Fish Award for his EQMM story "Skyler Hobbs and the Rabbit Man." His AHMM story "The Continental Opposite" was nominated for a Shamus award and selected for Best American Mystery Stories 2016. His novel CROCKETT'S DEVIL was published last year by Steeger Books, and a follow-up, BOWIE'S GOLD has just been released. Buy 'em both! Baby needs a new pair of shoes.
