Good point, Cap'n. A Melody Ranch playset would have been pretty cool. And they could have included a figure of that crazy cowboy robot from The Phantom Empire.

As his horse comes thundering down the hill, Gene strums in his guitar rather than hold the reins. Wotta guy!

ReplyDeleteI liked ole Smiley Burnette and the horse with the circle around his eye. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed Gene, too, when he wasn't singing.
