  1. I have seen it, on TCM, and liked it well enough, though Astor isn't any more likable here than in Falcon or any other film she was in that I've seen. I just don't understand her appeal, if she has any.

  3. Great movie and beautifully directed by Michael Curtiz too - probably the most stylish private eye movie of the decade as a result.
