Book Gallery: The Continental Op battles THE DAIN CURSE
Here are a mess of different editions of what seems to be everyone's least favorite Hammett novel. It certainly is mine. Why? I'll be yapping about that later this week, and displaying a few of the older covers.
I read it a long time ago, it was the first Hammett I read, and I don't remember much about it. I do recall that I had been reading Chandler and this didn't seem nearly as good.
I like THE DAIN CURSE. I've been thinking about reading it again. The Pocket Books edition was the one I read, 'way back when.
