    The Everett Aquasox are the Seattle Mariners' "short season affiliate." one step below a Single-A team.

    I thought Everett was a single A team. They play in the same league as the Hillsboro Hops who are a single A team (and just won the championship for the second year in a row).

    That's what I thought, Rick. I looked it up and here's what I found:
    AAA - Tacoma
    AA - Jackson
    Advanced A - Bakersfield
    A - Clinton
    Short Season A - Everett

    Their web site lists them as the M's short season affiliate.
