Roger Moore is SHERLOCK HOLMES IN NEW YORK (1976) with Patrick McNee, John Huston, Charlotte Rampling and more. Sheesh!

  1. I hope they stayed out of Times Square back then.

  2. Roger Moore as the Saint as Sherlock Holmes??? Scary!

  3. The opening theme was pretty good but it went downhill fast.

  4. Patrick MacNee was a good Watson, and Charlotte Rampling was perfect for Irene Adler, but Huston was too hammy as Moriarty. And Moore was perfect as the Saint, and not bad as James Bond, but he was hopelessly miscast as Holmes.
