I'm pretty sure they were owned by the distributor, Oscar. The only kind the theaters owned were the window cards. They're the ones that had a blank space at the top where they could write the theater name and play dates, and ask local merchants to display them in store windows.
Wonder horses were a character more from this kind of movies, right?
