I loved then and love now, most anything the Fleischers did. But especially SUPERMAN. So well done, so much fun. Thanks for the reminder. :)
You know, on second thinking, I'm trying to fix in my mind what works so well about this SUPERMAN. It's the drawing, for me. Gotta' be the drawing, the animation of course. The hard noirish use of shadow. Just love it.
I'd not seen this one before, though the introduction looked very familiar - the bullet, locomotive and leap over the building. I guess they must have used that part in a whole series of them.
I'm not a big fan of the man of Steel. but this is worth watch!
