Movie Editions: Farewell, My Lovely

They did a fine job on this 1975 flick - but I still liked Murder, My Sweet better.

Murder My Sweet was indeed better. I had Farewell figured out the moment "she" showed up. It was neat to see Jim Thompson, though. You did notice Jim Thompson, right?

Well, but this has Robert Mitchum, one of the most badass actors in the world

Nope! Didn't know Jim T was in it. Where?

Loved the book. Never saw the movie, though

Thompson played Old Man Grayle. He walks in on Marlowe and "her" when "she" is making a move on Marlowe. I'm trying not to spoil the show by those who haven't see it which is why I'm not mentioning "her" name.

Cool. Thanks.

Yes, Murder, My Sweet was way better.

And pre-ROCKY Sylvester Stallone had a small role as one of Amthor's thugs.
