Of course this was in the days when I was an EC snob and thought every comic book illustrator had to be Wood, Williamson, Frazetta, Davis or Severin, etc. Years later I realized that Toth was a master of action, staging and placement. And he loved to draw cars.

Did you post this as a tribute to Kookie, who died Jan 8th? Edd Byrnes was at a couple of the LA Paperback Shows in the 90s.
