The Ric-O-Shay, I believe, was the second-largest of the cap gun sidearms, second only to the Hubley Colt .45. It was probably issued with only white grips, but since it and the .45 use the same size, and I had two of each, I swapped them. It's like having two new guns for free. Can't decide which I like better.

The Ric-O-Shay was actually marketed with the black grips only and the 45s with white only.
