Overlooked Cartoons: Music Land (1935)
One of the coolest cartoons ever made, thinks I, in which the Land of Symphony and the Isle of Jazz go to war. (Not to be confused with Disney's 1955 animated feature of the same name.)

Pretty charming...clearly, the Third Stream flowed right across the Sea of Dischord. And didn't King Bari look just a bit like Disney...took me awhile to realize the viola was supposed to be a queen (rather than a king...)...the children of such unions will all be dobros...
Jazz versus symphony. I really want to see that.
Can't wait to show my grandson this!
