thanks for this. I loved this song when I was a kid. probably my first "favorite" song that I remember having.
Oh my, don't those other singers look elated to be wearing "coonskin caps".
Still my co-favorite, Charles, along with "Louie, Louie."I noticed that too, Rick. They look like they'd rather hit that guy than sing with him.
I've never quite seen the point of a coonskins cap unless it's just to add a touch of the picturesque...
