Did these come in different colors at different times? I didn't own these but I think a friend did with the Navarone set. I'm remembering his guys as dark blue. Am I way off?
The Germans also came in very light gray (like the motorcycle rider), but I've never seen them in other colors. I know Marx used a dark metallic blue for their 60mm cavalry, and some of the Alamo Mexicans. I also have some 50mm cavalry and Alamo defenders in a non-metallic dark blue. And a few 45mm and 60mm sailors in a sort of royal blue. Not much else leaps to mind.
I remember some Russian soldiers in a sort of metallic dark blue, and some Japanese troops in a very light brown or khaki tan. I don't know if those were made by Marx, though.
I think I've seen some of those Russians. They're 6-inch figures, aren't they? I do have the 50mm Japanese, most in flat khaki and a few in shiny tan, and plan to post those soon.
I remember some six-inch Russian (light green), German (gray), and Japanese figures (light brown/khaki tan), that (iirc) were sold individually. But there were also some smaller ones sold in bagged sets, like the green "Army men" still sold in dollar stores today.

In that case, I'm sure the Right Reverend Cap'n Bob Napier has some of those little blue Russians. How about some photos, Rev?
