Who's going to LEFT COAST CRIME?
In case you didn't know, Davy Crockett's Almanack comes to you from the kickass town of Portland, Oregon. And this year, March 12-15, Portland plays host to the kickass mystery convention Left Coast Crime.
The full panel lineup has just been released (HERE), and I'm pleased to report I'll be participating in one on Friday morning called Mean Streets: Pulp Detectives of the Past and Present, with Stephen Mertz, Dale Berry, William E. Wallace and Tim Wohlforth, and a Saturday afternooner called Without a Fedora: New Directions in Noir with Roger Hobbs, Baer Charlton, Robert Downs and Bret R. Wright.
If you're going to be in town, let me know. I'd be mighty happy to make your acquaintance.

"Tell 'em hello for me."
We'll be there, of course, since we're also from the kickass city of Portland. Looking forward to your panel presence.
I heard from Art Scott that he will not be there, as the con showed no interest in inviting him to do his terrific slide show on McGinnis, which is a damn shame.
Yeah, I too got the bad news from Mr. Artful Scott. It's a cryin' shame!
I'll be there and on a 3:30 Thursday panel called Odd Jobs and Strange Professions. Sounds like I'd better sharpen my steel-brimmed derby.
I just looked at the program and it said my panel is at 2:30. Room check in is 4:00. Sheesh!
I am now officially a "Program Room Volunteer" for your panel. I expect a really big shew.
