It should be on DVD, Evan. I have a VHS copy. Great movie. Problem is, it's such a direct translation of the book that it actually ruins the book. You can't go back and read it without realizing they just took Mickey's manuscript and copy-and-pasted into the film script.
The Mick talked about this at B'Con before it was shown. The budget was so low they had to film it in England, and some of the actors' accents are noticeable. But it's a fun movie and Spillane makes a perfect Hammer.

Flawed but still a great little film. Mickey "as" Mike Hammer? Uh-uh. Mickey IS Mike Hammer!!
I'll get to see it one of these years. I hope.

Is it my imagination, or does Shirley Eaton's head look freakishly large in the insert poster? Like a bad "celebrity nude" Photoshop job.

Is it just me or does the blonde in the green bikini look like her head was photoshopped?
Whoops, Art, you beat me to it.
