Crandall was always one of my fab faves. I used to haunt Catholic rummage sales hoping to find old issues of Treasure Chest with his work. His centerspread in the Classics Illustrated edition of Swiss Family Robinson is still burned into my brain 60 years after seeing it. A true master.

A lot of artists really have a hard time with the six-limbed Martians in these stories.
Yeah, in allowing those limbs to be used as either arms or legs, Burroughs made them dang hard to visualize.
