Ranger Jim Hatfield, who starred in all 206 issues of the Texas Rangers pulp between 1936 and 1958, also crossed over into Exciting Comics. This one is from issue #7, from January 1941, and was gifted to us by Yoc via comicbookplus.

Some of those panels look like they were drawn by Ghastly Graham Ingles.
Some of the face-shading technique looks like Everett Raymond Kinstler. Jim V. would know.
I see the similarities to both guys, but my guess would be neither. There are Hatfield stories in a lot of issues of this mag, but nobody on comicbookplus seems to have a clue.
Someone send the artist a photograph of a real woman in jodhpurs, please!
