WALLY WOOD Out West with "Six-Gun Smith" (1951)

Western Crime Busters was one of the comics published by Trojan Magazines, the outfit that brought us Spicy Detective, Spicy Adventure, Spicy Mystery, Spicy Western and Dan Turner, Hollywood Detective. In issue #7, back in October 1951, they brought us this tale illustrated by the great Wally Wood. Wood is credited with a few others stories in their comics, too. So here's what I want to know: Did he also do illos for any of their pulp mags? Any of you Woodites know?

While there is no known story illustrations by Wally Wood in the Trojan pulps, this story was first printed in their Six-Gun Western June 1950 pulp in black and white. Two other comics drawn by Wood appeared in Trojan's other western pulps in May and June 1950.
