They are certainly playing on George Hayes'"Gabbie" character in some these posters, even though this is not the character that he plays in this film. The movie opens with one of the best in all low budget westerns of this time. Wayne, as Randy, rides into a seemingly deserted town and goes into a saloon where the sound of a piano playing comes from. Inside Randy finds only copses sitting around. And, we are aware that someone is watching Randy.
