Wow, his own helicopter in 1945, the Shadow really is keeping up with the times. Yeah, the Sikorsky R-4 had been in production for ~3 years at that point and the Bell 47 (aka "the MASH copter" to many folks) had just been introduced, but on the whole very few people had even seen a copter outside of a newsreel.
Which kind of shows here, since the artist seems to be struggling with how the tail rotor is positioned and the airframe itself doesn't look quite like anything on the market. Credit for trying, though. And for skipping a forced scene of Margo in a revealing outfit for once. :)
