Crandall was always one of my fab faves. I used to haunt Catholic rummage sales hoping to find old issues of Treasure Chest with his work. His centerspread in the Classics Illustrated edition of Swiss Family Robinson is still burned into my brain 60 years after seeing it. A true master.
