It's true, boys and girls - Mark Twain really happened. Here's the proof, from issue #10, published back in August, 1947. Thanks to the ever-popular freddyfly for adding it to comicbookplus. The cover is credited to Alex Schomburg, and the story art to Fred Guardineer.
