Not long ago, I presented the Betty Boop/Cab Calloway classic, "The Old Man and the Mountain." That's HERE. Now here's another romp with Cab and Betty. In this one, from 1932, Cab and his ghostly cartoon counterpart demonstrate his version of the Moonwalk, which he obviously stole from Michael Jackson (NOT!).
Tune into SWEET FREEDOM for more Overlooked Stuff.

I'm guessing this is the best known Boop 'toon, since Calloway had a hit with the song and his performance of it has been widely seen. Still, well worth watching (again).
If you're interested in one of the guys who was behind BETTY BOOP, you might want to check out my posting for SUPERMAN: 1941-1942: 17 SHORTS. Max Fleischer was involved in both projects.
That step Cab does is, I believe, called the Camel Walk. It differs from the moon walk bcause it goes forward.
This is my fave Betty Boop cartoon by far!
