These covers are great, but I have to say the ads in the bottom left corner are what really caught my eye.
Who wouldn't want to enter a SOLVE-A-MURDER Prize Contest (What?!!)... or receive FIFTY Prize-Winning Four-Foot Wingspan Model Airplanes FREE! (Yes, 50 of them... enough for a model airplane launch party.)
Great art on the covers! Pulpy and an obvious influence on Kaluta in the '70s. What were the interior stories like? I recall the awful camp run from MLJ in the 60s.
I've seen reprints with Bob Powell art that has a certain charm. With issue 7 they stopped recycling pulp paintings and switched to line art for the covers - and there are some great ones. Stay tuned, they'll be coming soon.

I love the cover of #3. Obviously, this comic didn't just feature The Shadow. That's quite a line up.
