Ron Goulart's book Cheap Thrills (aka An Informal History of the Pulp Magazines) said that G.T. Fleming-Roberts apparently was a real person, despite having a name that sounded like a murder mystery character. Roberts was very prolific, and, under various house names, he wrote stories for a lot of pulp hero series, including the Black Hood and Secret Agent X.

Didn't know that about old G.T. Can't recall reading one of his stories on purpose, but with those house names, who knows?
