This series of mapbacks is a bit like the maps included in fatasy and SF books. Sometime sit helps a lot.

Love mapbacks and I have about 100 of them. The only Hammett I've got is The Creeping Siamese.

You know I like the Vintage Crime/Black Lizard cover series best but the old fashion maps you have posted here are fun and reminds me of the Ellery Queen hardbacks.

Show me a map and I will open the book. Love them. I would probably read a book of just maps come to think of it.

Love those Dell Mapbacks! I keep an eye out for them at the collector show, but still only have a handful.

And one of those is the first Dell edition of A Man Called Spade. That's worth a handful in itself.

I love this. I showed an Agatha Christie mapback on my blog recently. I didn't even know they were a regular thing. Wow. Just gorgeous.
