Overlooked Films: LIGHTNIN' BILL CARSON (1936)

For my money, Colonel Tim McCoy was the coolest cowboy start of the '30s. Can't say this one of his best, but with his long tall nose and black outfit, he even looks a bit like The Shadow.

The hombre with the white horse had his gun on in the saloon but when he came out he stopped by the sheriff's office to pick up his rig.

He also had no gun when he left the shack but had one later, before he got to town. And how did Tom manage to heal so quickly? And why did Tom blame Bill for the lynching when he wasn't there? The element of time was missing completely from this turkey.
