I read this book when it came out. Some stories are misfires but all in all I thought the collection was of interest and enjoyable.

It's cool that this collection features a story by a gentleman named Ed Gorman, a contributor to both BEAT to a PULP: Round One and Discount Noir.

Great line-up! I only recently pulled out Chandler's THE LADY IN THE LAKE. Will have to look for this antho.
