The pencils on this adventure from the first issue of Ken Shannon (Oct. 1951) are credited to Reed Crandall. Sadly, it appears the inks were added by by someone else, but we should be grateful for what we have. We should also be grateful to "Tigger" for uploading it to comicbookplus.

More strips clipped from Portland newspapers by young Larry Paschelke. According to online sources, the first six months of the Sunday strip did not follow the continuity of the the dailies. This first adventure, known as "The Mercurian Invasion," ran 14 weeks, so we won't see the dailies and Sundays integrated for awhile.
