JOHN SEVERIN Rides with Wyatt Earp (1957)

Here's one of very few Wyatt tales Mr. Severin illustrated for Marvel's Earp comic. The vast majority in that 34-issue run were by Dick Ayers, and they weren't bad (stay tuned and I'll post a couple). This one is from Wyatt Earp #9, dated March 1957.

Cap Gun Monday: CARNELL BUNT-LINE

This swell weapon was made by Lone Star of England for the Carnell company of New York. One of the cooler things about it is the "Notch Bar" on the grip (best seeen in the photo below), so young gunslingers wouldn't lose track of their kills. (Some other Lone Star guns featured this also.) Lucky for me, the original owner of this one seems to have had a peaceful career. 

WYATT EARP and the "Tunnel of Terror" (1958)

Wyatt rides again (or maybe just walks) in this tale from Four Color Comics 921, from 1958. The art here is credited to Russ Manning, so if Wyatt looks like he's related to Tarzan, that's why.
